Unfortunately, due to a shortage of available match officials this weekend, a decision has been taken to postpone our scheduled home match against Hunslet ARLFC A.
This game was due to be played at an alternative venue due to the effect of recent rainfall on the field at Frank Middleton Park, and although the lads are disappointed not to be playing, the postponement does give our own pitch another week to recover.
Our game against Hunslet will be rescheduled for later in the year while we’ll hopefully be back on home turf a week on Saturday, when we welcome West Hull in the first round of the National Cup.
For those looking for their rugby league fix, our under-12s are playing their first game in Division One, away at Keighley Albion on Saturday morning. The match kicks off at 10.15am and the postcode is BD16 2ER.
